One of my favorite things Chen Chen and I have been doing this summer is working on her photography. We have been making the effort to go out at least once a week to work on an exercise. If we are going out for the day we usually both grab our cameras in case we run across somewhere we can stop and take pictures. She always gets lots of smiles and thumbs up when she is out with her camera, on our trip to the Japanese gardens recently one of the men who works there spotted us across one of the ponds and came over to give her some phtography tips which she loved!
The weather has been gorgeous lately so today we drove out to a local conservation area for a nature walk and I gave her the assigment of trying to find items in every color of the rainbow to take pics of. Her favorite song lately is Roy G. Biv by They Might Be Giants so I thought it was a fitting exercise that she could relate to.
It was a little tricky to find all of the colors where we went today, but she did an awesome job and noticed things that I had missed, she also included white, brown and black as well. Unfortunately our outdoor time was cut short as the poor thing is a mosquito magnet!
And of course a couple of picures of the photographer :)
