My scrap space was somewhat organized and clean (for a change!) so I thought I would snap a few pictures to share. This room has been several things since we bought our house. First it was a guest room, then it was Chen Chen's room, and then we moved her into what was my scrap-room since it was 1. much larger and 2. I had downsized how much scrapping I was doing and didn't feel like I needed that much space any more. Well, lo and behold as soon as we moved my stuff over I started scrapping more but it is actually a good thing to be in a smaller space since it forces me to edit what I keep and what I bring in.
Bob built this desk for me a few years ago...I love it! It is big and study and is a scrapping workhorse. It has lots of flat space to work on with storage underneath for my sewing machines, flair making supplies and bins of random embellishments plus it cleans up easy & looks as good as the day he built it. A few weeks ago I decided I needed to add a bit more storage for Project Life stuff so he built the piece to set on top.
This is most of my PL stuff, everything is easily within reach and is in containers so I can pull a basket or a bowl down, get what I need and put it back so the mess doesn't get out of control. So far it has worked really well.
These Ikea shelves and cabinets are on the opposite wall. My vintage fabric stash is in there and stays dust free in the closed cabinets. There is room on top for my postal scale, Cameo and my Elle's Studio embellishments. I keep them separate so I don't have to dig through my PL stuff when I am working on DT assignments! the shelves had books on them when Chen Chen was in here, once those moved to her new room I added some art and a few random things that make me happy :)
This is where I keep my paper, Thickers, and sheets of stickers. I had so much I wasn't using that I went through and pulled together into a big box for Chen Chen to use for projects. The pieces on the wall are from when she was in the room, her new space has limited wall space so here they stayed!
One of the things I love most about this room is the built in bed, doesn't make much sense in a scrap-room but in a pinch we could still use it as a guest room and there is lots of storage in the built-ins around it. You don't even want to know how much stuff is crammed behind those 2 little doors!
Here is what is happening on my floor most days...craft projects and a pug curled up by the heater vent.

love your cozy crafting space. and it is so wonderful that you have a little crafty buddy. I always love to see kids get excited to craft along with you.
