I'm so excited to be kicking of the Paper Issues Favorite of 2012 blog hop! I'm posting up my favorite LO of 2012...2012 started as year where I pretty much figured I wouldn't be scrapping again, and if I did, it wouldn't be for a very long time. When we started to paperchase for our adoption in 2010, I packed away all of my scrapping supplies knowing that something had to come off the table at the time. A few months ago we started hitting our stride around here and I found the time to start playing with paper again and I loved it, maybe even more than I did before because I now had all of these pictures accumulating and I wanted to start documenting our life plus I needed to be creative again. Being creative is my favorite :)
Sooooo, long story short, I picked this layout as my favorite of 2012...
It has my favorite subject matter with my favorite smile. I used my favorite new tool, my Cameo, to make the title from vellum and layers of fun embellishments in bright colors have been a favorite of mine for years!

I absolutely adore this layout! Staring at the vellum words on the page really makes me want to break down and buy a cameo. I LOVE how beautifully the script so elegantly sweeps across the page. Gorgeous!

This is just fabulous. I love the large tone-on-tone title. It makes a huge impact without being overpowering. What a stunning page.
