Bright and early this morning we got up and got ready for the dress rehearsal for Chen Chen's recital this afternoon. I've had to hide her dress away for a few weeks as I knew she wouldn't be able to wait to wear it and who could blame her...it's fluffy and sparkly and it has a tiara :)

She did so well, I was so proud of her! She tried really hard and she was so cute when she would yell out "look mama, i'm listening!!" I got weepy more than once thinking about how far she has come in just a year.
I did have to bribe her with a donut to get her out of her costume when we got home...after the recital this afternoon i'm betting she will probably want to sleep in it :)
