Just a few pics. from this week captured on my phone...I go back to work tomorrow (sad face) so we did a trial run this last week at daycare. She will be doing 3 1/2 days a week...When I dropped her off a group of little girls congregated around her and she was totally fine with me leaving. I waited a few minutes to make sure there wasn't any crying (other than mine!) & she came home the first day in good spirits and celebrated by putting on the Santa jammies I drug all the way to China for Christmas and then forgot to get out for her, at least she is finally getting some use out of them!
The next day she came home with a couple of owies where she had fallen while they were out for a walk :( Several dozen band-aids were needed to make her boo-boos all better.
Once she was feeling better she helped herself to my shake!

In addition to the juice, lettuce and cokes in my fridge, I opened up to find it also contained 2 pandas and a picture of her at her orphanage...
Pre-nap defiance. Naps are pretty much gone at this point but she has had a cold for the past 2 days so she really needed one.
Sweet, sweet sleep, yes she is napping in a chair. Putting her in bed for a nap triggers hysterical crying and tantrums but she curled right up in the chair and dozed off. That pillow sham is totally her security item, she has to have it to fall asleep, had I known I would have bought a back-up before they were discontinued at Target!
Love all the pictures! She truly seems to be doing wonderfully! And there's never a dry eye from a mom who is returning to work after her baby -- especially, I think, after her first baby.

Hang in that, Martha! It really sounds like she is doing great. The job I had would have never worked, I would never have seen Emma, and I would have been 30 miles from her. Do what you have to, doesn't mean you love her any less. Just wish they wouldn't grow so fast. Love the pics, especially the panda and photo in the fridge!
