I have been out of town for a week and it seems like an eternity!! So much catching up to do...unpacking, cleaning up mess I made in scrap-room before leaving town ack!
Last week I had a couple of projects on the Sassafras Blog...the focus was flowers, flowers, flowers!!
The vintage pattern image was scanned and printed onto Claudine Hellmuth's Sticky-back Canvas and then sewed onto a piece of vintage quilt. I wrote of review of this fabulous product that you can check out over at Craft Critique
If you are in the Chicagoland area, make sure you stop into Craft Fancy in Arlington Heights on Saturday....it's their 1st birthday celebration and there are going to be sales and make & takes...I will be there in the a.m. doing a demo with Sassafras and some other goodies :)
My review of Kitschy Digitals is up this morning over at Craft Critique so go check it out! Even as a paper scrapper I love Kitschy Digitals sooooooo much, such cute images and so easy to work with! You can print out the elements and do traditional LOs and projects with them....
I did a hybrid LO and it wasn't hard!! I did most of this LO in PSE, printed it out and added some buttons and lace and Sassafras to give it some dimension
I created this storyboard in PSE and then framed it and added some trim and buttons
A pillow embellished with a mushroom from the Woodland Stuffies kit with a few vintage buttons added for good measure :)
Make sure you check out all of the Kitschy Digitals reviews over at Craft Critique this week and make sure you leave a comment so that you will be entered to win 1 of 2 Kitschy Digitals prizes!! Head on over to Craft Critique now to leave your comments :)
Ack! A whole week, no blogging and today isn't going to be much better.
Just super busy with work and stuff, I have been playing with lots of Kitschy Digitals and Sassafras goodies so I will have new projects to share soon!
Getting ready for SIS Live, packing kits that are full of Cosmo Cricket, Sassafras, Elle's Studio, Claudine Hellmuth sticky back canvas and vintage goodies...I can't wait for this class, it is going to be so much fun!!
Trying to sell stuff on eBay to raise some dolly funds...I forgot how time consuming listing things on eBay can be!
