It's the kind of cold that zaps any motivation to go outside to even get in your car to go somewhere to do anything so I have been inside...a lot, but at least I have gotten some scrapping done :) Some stuff with the new SIS collection Retro Modern that will be out soon!
after a wonderful weekend relaxing, eating, scrapping, shopping, watching movies and all in the company of wonderful friends. I just got back from dropping Jo & Corinne off at the airport after one last morning of Target, Archivers, lunch at Panera and a quick trip to Borders & Michaels. We all fell in *love* with the Friendly Forest collection we found at Michaels.
At 6 a.m. tomorrow morning I hit the road with Diane, Jo, Corrine & Traci for our road-trip to Tennessee for our Fashionista retreat!! I was kind of hoping that Tennessee would = warmer weather but it doesn't look like that is the case at all. I am all packed and ready to go and after an evening of American Idol watching I am heading to bed so I can get up early and be somewhat bright-eyed :) I am so looking forward to catching up with everyone, relaxing, scrapping and just not really doing much of anything at all! I think where we are staying is internet-less so I may go into withdrawals but it is probably a good thing as I sit here in front of this glowing machine waaaaaaay too much sometimes.
I still can't believe that this is happening...I received an email a few days ago from the lovely Corinne asking if I would like to be a teacher at her Scrap-A-Licious Scrapbooking Weekend in the Netherlands!!! Insert me screaming and jumping up and down wildly here! My mind has been spinning out of control...what do I pack, ack I am flying by myself, double ack I really don't like to fly, oh my I need to renew my passport!!!
I am guest Designer over at the Dozens this month and had the best time playing with the new Circus Circus kit...it is right up my alley with all of it's bright colors and vintage-ness :)
